I am a film theorist, moving image preservation specialist, and phD student of art theory at the University of Iceland in cooperation with the National Gallery of Iceland, Iceland University of the Arts and the Center for Digital Humanities and Arts.

I am on the board of SkjaldborgIcelandic – Documentary Film Festival, the Deputy board of the Living Art Museum and represent phD students on the board of the Literature and Art Theory Institution.

I am often available for project based work (and consultation) relating to the preservation, documentation and conservation of time based media art (video, audio, etc - work that has time as an element …or gets plugged in) and other moving image material (archival, also home movies).

Then I sometimes work as a script supervisor on film sets.
